Christmas at my mom's is always a feast...she cooks mountains of delicious food, and every single time we make the mistake of eating all the appetizer and we're stuffed from that alone. So Christmas (food-wise) was great.
This year we've also commemorated 20 years since the revolution, and in that spirit, around 4, just as we were settling down, they cut off our electricity for about half an hour. So thank you, democracy!
Santa brought us sweets (cause we're both so tiny and malnourished that only chocolate could save us), toys and a baby.

Yes, you read it right, we're pregnant

That white 1.38 cm thingy is our baby. We wouldn't have seen it so early (almost 8 weeks) if I wouldn't have had a major bleeding scare last night. After we were treated like crap at our local hospital, we went to Bucharest to a private hospital and the sweet lady doctor told us everything was fine, the baby's in no danger but I have to take progesterone till 12 weeks cause my ovaries are lazy

Bet that's more info than you wanted to know, but I can't keep it a secret any more. My mum-in-law knows for about a month now and we told mom for Christmas, so now it's time to share the good news with my friends too!
Hopefully the pills will work and baby will be just fine.
So...how was your Christmas?
